                 A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CHANGE ORDER NO. 1,
                 CONTRACT NO. RW-1-95, NEW SUPERSPUN AVENUE,
                 WITH RIVERBEND CONSTRUCTION CORPORATION, WHICH
                 CHANGE ORDER INCREASES THE CONTRACT AMOUNT BY
                 FORTY THOUSAND, EIGHT HUNDRED NINETY-EIGHT AND
                 55/100 DOLLARS ($40,898.55), FOR A REVISED
                 CONTRACT AMOUNT OF THREE HUNDRED TWENTY-EIGHT
                 THOUSAND, NINE AND 75/100 DOLLARS ($328,009.75)
                 AND INCREASES THE CONTRACT TIME BY TWENTY-TWO
                 (22) DAYS FOR A COMPLETION DATE OF DECEMBER 21,

       	    	 BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF
       CHATTANOOGA, TENNESSEE, That there be and is hereby authorized
       Change Order No. 1, Contract No. RW-1-95, New Superspun Avenue,
       with Riverbend Construction Corporation, which change order
       increases the contract amount by $40,898.55 for a revised 
contract
       amount of $328,009.75, and which change order increases the
       contract time by 22 days for a completion date of December 21,
       1995.
